From Baltimore/Washington and South
From Baltimore Beltway (Route 695), exit onto Route 83 North; follow 83 North to York Pa. and exit onto Route 30 East; take 30 East to Lancaster; look for exit marked Franklin & Marshall. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto the Harrisburg Pike; proceed toward Lancaster city. The campus will be about 1 1/2 miles on your right.
From Harrisburg and Central Pennsylvania
From north of Harrisburg, take Route 15 South to Route 322 East. Cross the Susquehanna River and follow to Routes 81 North/322 East. From Routes 81 North/322 East, take Route 83 South to Route 283 South. Then exit onto Route 283 East (to Lancaster). Take Route 283 East to Lancaster area and exit onto Route 722 East (Landisville). At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto State Road. At second traffic light, turn left onto Harrisburg Pike. Franklin & Marshall is about 4 miles ahead on your right.
From Western Pennsylvania
Take Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 19/247; take 283 East (first exit after toll booths) to the Lancaster area. Follow above directions from 283 East to campus.
From Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania
From Routes 78/22, proceed south on Route 222. Follow 222 South through Reading to the Lancaster area; exit onto Route 30 West. Follow 30 West several miles to the point where 30 West exits from the highway on which you are traveling; take 30 West exit; proceed 1/2 mile to Harrisburg Pike exit (also marked for Franklin & Marshall); turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Harrisburg Pike; proceed toward Lancaster city. The campus is about 1 1/2 miles on your right.
From New York City
Take Route 80 West to Route 287 South; take 287 South to Routes 78/22 West. Take 78/22 West and pick up Route 222 South to campus OR take the New Jersey Turnpike south to the Pennsylvania Turnpike; take Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 21/286 (Route 222 South to Lancaster); follow above directions from 222 South to campus.
From Philadelphia
Don't take Route 30 West unless you have plenty of time! Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike west to Exit 21/286 (Route 222 South); follow above directions from 222 South.
From Philadelphia International Airport
From the Airport Terminal, take Route 95 South; follow 95 South to Chester; take exit for Route 322 West (be careful, it's a tricky double exit); follow 322 West to a three-way intersection where 322 West merges with Route 1 South; stay on Route 1 South to the exit for Route 41 North (Avondale); follow 41 North to Route 30; turn left onto 30 West and follow to Lancaster. At a point where Route 30 West exits from the highway you are traveling on, take 30 West exit; proceed 1/2 mile to Harrisburg Pike exit (also marked for Franklin & Marshall); turn left at the end of exit ramp onto Harrisburg Pike; proceed toward Lancaster city. The campus is about 1 1/2 miles on your right.
